Energy Post Weekly was a premium content edition for the existing Energy Post website. It was targeted to offer premium content to the movers and shakers in the European energy industry and features columns from the editor-in-chief, Karel Beckman and their Brussels correspondent, Sonja van Renssen.
The brief was to create a magazine that could be produced quickly, offering insight into news and events that affected the energy sector. With people short of time the emphasis was on ‘condensed analysis’ in an easy to read format.
Because this format was only going to be used as an introduction to
premium content, I decided to go with a very punchy design. Strong fonts and bold colours were immediately noticeable. Once introduced to the concept, we took the premium content online with a dedicated microsite.
